The Setting
This is the wonderful land of the Siar, where magical animals roam towns and villages, living their every day lives. If you read the very long history, you will learn in depth about the Siar, but as an overall summary, the Siar is a large Kingdom that has fought many wars to get where it is today. Now the Siar Kingdom is finally at peace after all of those hard-fought wars. The Siar is only about 200 years old, so it is still a young nation, yet it is growing fast. Everyone has a gift, which traditionally is received at the age of one year, though you can get it earlier.
Now, the setting of where we actually RP is in a valley, which is named the Teranilla Valley, and in that valley is Teranilla Town. (no, Teranilla is not a flavor of ice cream!) Teranilla Town is a wealthy town, but it is also very unfair. It is filled with a harsh ranking system. Unless you have money, you will be living in the slums on the cold hard ground.
Your Path
Everyone is, at default, dirt poor, the lowest of the low. You can either A) do not a gosh darn thing about it B) become a guardian or C) become a thief
Wait, what's a guardian? What's a thief? Well let me tell you!
Guardian- the helpers, they take on jobs and chores and beat up the 'bad guys' to earn respect and money, they have the ability to move up in the ranks of society and gain fame and fortune
Thief- this is very self-explanatory, but a thief is the guy who robs people, you steal and kill and trick others until you have enough money to last you a life time, thieves can't move up in the ranks of society, but they can live the good life and increase their bounty (I guess a bounty isn't really a good thing :'D)
Of course, you don't have to be a thief or a guardian, you can work alone, it's your choice after all.
(Currently, the guardians and the thieves are not actual groups yet with secret bases, this will happen in RP, so you can pick your path later on)
